Creative Packaging Takes Part in Local Food Drive for A Second Year

In the month of November, Creative Packaging Company received an invitation to participate in voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation’s annual canned food drive for the second year in a row. Over the years, voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation has invited other companies in the Shelbyville area to participate in their philanthropy program, TogetherWeCare. This year the annual food drive was to benefit The Backpack Program.

The Backpack Program is a mission run by a local organization, Awake Ministries helping provide food to children with a verified need on the weekends as well as holidays spent away from school.

In Kentucky alone, more than 570,000 individuals struggle with hunger every year, 160,000 of those Kentuckians being children.

This year, Creative Packaging made a fantastic contribution of almost 500 pounds of food to help the children of Shelby County. Some of the needed items requested this year included: soup, cereal, cheese crackers, and Pop-Tarts, to name a few. What an amazing turnout by all employees at Creative!

Headquartered in Shelbyville, KY Creative is proud to make such a contribution to our local community. We are very thankful and proud of all the Creative employees who contributed. Giving back to our community was a great way to end 2022.
